A nature lover's back-to-basics environment utilizing alternative energy, nestled in four
acres of old forest on the southern slopes of Mauna Loa. Three accommodations available: Ohana
House,1200 sq ft, sleeps 8 to 10 people (dorm style) and has a large fully equipped kitchen
- perfect for small groups; a cottage, sleeps 5 people; plus a rustic 2 room cabin. There is
also additional camping and outside under cover work space available for groups. Rates: House from $75 per night; Cottage from $50 per night. Two night minimum stay, 7th night free. Cabin

A Buddhist Temple and non-sectarian Retreat Center on 25 acres in one of the most secluded
areas of the Hawaiian Islands. Situated in a natural forested setting and landscaped with tropical
plants, the Center offers peace, serenity, and refuge from the ordinary world. There are accommodations
for 15 people in comfortable private rooms and dormitory quarters which are available to individual
guests, and are ideal for group programs. Rates: single room (small) $50 per night, (large)
$60 per night; double room $75 per night; dormitory $40 per night. 10% discount for 3 nights
or more. Group rate $40 per night (for groups of 15 and more; exclusive use of facility). Two
