Requirements regarding camping in Hawaii vary by jurisdiction, island,
campsite, and facilities. The following information applies to the Island of Oahu. There are
no national parks with campgrounds on Oahu. Note: Camping information is subject to change without
notice. Please contact the applicable local office for current information.

Camp Erdman is located on the north shore of Oahu and has been the place for conferences,
retreats, and family reunions since 1926. They can accommodate up to 300 people. Rates: One
cabin with kitchenette $180 per night (cabin sleeps 8 people); OR Individual & Group Package
Rates from $61 per night (includes a cabin with bathroom, 3 meals per day, camp led activities,
and use of pool and Conference Hall). Sorry no tent camping. Please call 637-4615 for more information

A 10-acre Conference and Retreat Center situated on beautiful Kanoehe Bay. Facilities
include a modern camp lodge with accommodations for up to 60 people; overnight camping and cabins
based on availability; indoor basket ball court; and a great hall for meetings and meals. Great

Ten-acre mountain retreat in Makakilo, 2,000 feet high in the Waianae Mountains, with
a wide variety of activities. Five rustic cabins, tent camping plus vacation rentals. Rates:
Tent camping $8 per person per night. Cabin $35 per person per night (includes three meals per
day). Maximum stay of one week. Inquire about their rates for vacation rentals. The Camp can
accommodate large groups of up to 150 people at a discounted rate - great facility for school,
church, and other retreat groups.

A campground in the Waianae Valley catering to the general public and private groups of
10 or more campers. Owned and operated by the Hawaii Conference of the Seventh day Adventists.
The camp consists of seven cabins, tent camping, a kitchen/dining hall, and a large swimming
pool. Rates: Cabins $15.00 per camper per day (10-25 campers); Tent camping $5.00 per camper
per day (10-25 campers). Refundable deposit of $100 is required for reservation. Reduced rates
for larger groups. Additional fees for use of swimming pool and kitchen/dining hall.
