Southwest Oahu Situated between the Leeward Coast and Honolulu & Waikiki. Location of Pearl Harbor - home to the USS Arizona Memorial - a national shrine to honor those who died in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941. The Battleship Missouri Memorial - site of Japan's unconditional surrender ending WW II - is also berthed here at Ford Island.
