the Hawaiian people. Two famous surf spots, Queen's and Canoes,
are located here. Site of the Duke Kahanamoku Statue - the
father of modern surfing.

"The Beach" known round the world. A two mile
stretch of shoreline with splendid waves for surfing and wide
sand for sunbathing.

MOANA REGIONAL PARK 1201 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu
The most popular beach park in all of urban Honolulu. Provides
numerous activities and a beach without the crowds and traffic
of Waikiki. Caution: Safe all year, but a deep swimming channel
runs length of the entire beach.
