MOKULEIA BEACH PARK
68-919 Kaena Point Road, Mokuleia

Deserted windsurfing beach for experts. Hike to Kaena Point begins 2.9 miles beyond the park (2.5 miles/2 hours one-way).

Parking, restrooms, picnic tables, showers.

HALEIWA ALII BEACH PARK
66-167 Haleiwa Road, Haleiwa

A small bay protected by an offshore reef with a large sand-filled channel that provides excellent swimming. A popular but dangerous surfing break. Dangerous currents and surf from October through April.

Community center, parking, restrooms, showers, lifeguards.

HALEIWA BEACH PARK
62-449 Kamehameha Highway, Haleiwa

A 13-acre beach park that has many recreational facilities, including a long, safe and sandy swimming beach. Adjacent to the Haleiwa Boat Harbor.

Parking, restrooms, picnic tables, showers.

LANIAKEA BEACH
Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa (between Papailoa & Pohaku Loa Way)

Some of the best waves along the North Shore. Not a particularly good swimming beach, with strong alongshore currents, even on calm days.

CHUN'S REEF BEACH
Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa (Waimea Bay side of Pohaku Loa Way)

One of the most popular surfing places on the North Shore. Swimming is not very good - the very shallow reef comes right up to the beach.
