She sings in seven languages and has a classically trained four-octave range, but it’s her exquisite phrasing and her ability to seamlessly move from ballads to bossa nova that make her sultry vocals marvelous. This concert is Sacha’s tribute to Jimmy Borges—Hawai‘i’s first man of song—and will feature music that has influenced his life and the stories that go with it.

Not only has this proven to be a fun volunteer activity for residents and visitors, but it also helps to provide important population and distribution information on humpback whales around the Hawaiian Islands. Both site leaders and general volunteers are needed for all islands.
