ALEKOKO OVERLOOK (MENEHUNE FISHPOND)
A registered National Historic Landmark, the 900 foot mullet-raising fishpond is said to
be the handiwork of the mythical menehune (Hawaii's mischievous elves). The adjacent Huleia
National Wildlife Refuge can be viewed from the Overlook.
